Web Application Engineer (C# .NET)

JD Supra is growing, and we need talented web application engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic startup environment, and will take the initiative to tackle a wide range of technical challenges.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, and skills in these areas:

1. Web application design and implementation
2. Creating or extending functional website components based on business requirements
3. Windows stack - ASP.Net, C#, VB, SQL Server
4. Open Source Stack - Linux, PHP, MySQL
5. Cloud-based infrastructure:
   - AWS - Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, SQS, SNS
   - Azure - Web App Service, Worker Service, SQL Server
6. HTML, CSS, JavaScript
7.Strong verbal and written communications

Experience integrating with social networking platforms, application UX issues, or database schema design and performance optimization are pluses.

We employ agile development processes, requiring regular communication and collaboration with other team members. This position will be full time, in-office, with the possibility of telecommuting once established on the team.

You will be joining a dedicated team of experienced professionals, including experts in database, web development, web applications, responsive web design, and graphic design. We utilize the latest web, cloud, and mobile technologies, and integrate with all of the key social media platforms.

Education and Experience:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years professional web development experience
