South Sudan:

On February 13th, the United Nations (U.N.) Security Council welcomed the start of new Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) peace talks between the Government of South Sudan and anti-government opposition forces in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Security Council called for the talks to be fully inclusive and reiterated demands for the release of political detainees held by the Government of South Sudan.
