  • In the letter, the AGs argue that RECA should be expanded to ensure that a broader set of victims, who suffered due to radioactive exposure from nuclear weapons testing on U.S. soil, receive adequate coverage and benefits.
  • The AGs urge Congress to adopt an amendment to RECA which would cover those “downwind” of the test sites in areas such as New Mexico, Idaho, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Montana, and Guam.
