AG Healey Settles With Home Health Agency Over Purportedly Unauthorized Services

  • Massachusetts AG Maura Healey settled with home health agency Integrity Home Care Solutions, LLC, and its owners and officers (collectively, “Integrity”) to resolve alleged violations of MassHealth regulations.
  • According to the AG’s office, Integrity allegedly failed to obtain physician authorization to confirm that services are medically necessary before submitting claims to MassHealth.
  • Under the terms of the settlement, Integrity will pay $550,000 to MassHealth and implement a three-year compliance program, which will be overseen by a third-party compliance monitor, among other things.
