I. SHPDA Administrative Report -

The following project was approved by an Administrative Law Judge and no exceptions were filed.

AL2018-005, Bay Eyes Surgery Center, Inc., Fairhope, AL: Proposes to add one (1) Class-C operating room and expand the existing ambulatory surgical services from ophthalmology only to include other surgical specialties. At the conclusion of the proposal, the facility will operate four (4) Class-C operating rooms and expand its ambulatory surgery services from single-specialty to include multiple specialties. The ALJ approved the project and CON 2836-ASC was issued on August 10, 2018.

II. Certificate of Need Program -

A. 2018-026, DVA Healthcare Renal Care, Inc. d/b/a Ozark Dialysis, Ozark, AL: Proposes to add six (6) new in-center hemodialysis stations to the existing ESRD facility consisting of twelve (12) in-center hemodialysis stations and one (1) hemodialysis isolation station. Opposition: None.
