It is hard to manage all the details when a loved one passes away. If they lived outside of being able to drive, now you have to deal with finding a flight. Unfortunately, bereavement flights are not as discounted as some of us may think they should be. They are last minute flights which are typically higher in cost if purchased directly from the airline. You may actually find a less expensive flight on the discount travel sites. Bottom line...spend the time to search these flights just like you would any other flight.
