A new report indicates that the national bankruptcy rate rose 33 percent in the third quarter of 2009, as compared to the same time period last year. This spike in rates represents the highest rate of bankruptcy filings since 2005. For the last 12 months at a minimum, bankruptcy has been a hot practice area.
