Unfortunately, Colorado drivers have more distractions than ever from GPS navigation to smart phones and often consider the new “3 feet to pass” rule a mere suggestion rather than the law. The most expensive cycling helmet on the market is still many orders of magnitude less costly than a CAT scan. Bicycle helmets may not be required in Colorado, but they are a good idea.
