The Brazilian Ministry of Labor’s National Immigration Council (CNIg) announced yesterday that it has approved a new resolution that will significantly streamline the application process for certain short-term work visas. The current average 45-60 day processing time to obtain a short-term work visa may ultimately be reduced by as much as 30-45 days under the new process.
