Yu Chung Koo v. Huang Cho Hong, et al.

Certified Copy of Judgment as Recorded in Riverside County, CA

less-

Our client, Yu Chung Koo, prevailed in a jury trial and obtained a judgment in the sum of $1.59 Million, plus costs. In our efforts to assist our client with enforcement of the Judgment, we obtained a "certified copy" of the Judgment from the Court Clerk, and submitted it for recording with the Recorder's Office in Riverside County, California, where some of the judgment debtors held title to real estate. Section 697.310 of the California Code of Civil Procedure provides that recording of an abstract of a money judgment in the county where property is located, creates a judgment lien on the property.
