Irizarry v. Corinthian Colleges, Inc.

Class Action Complaint Filed Against Corinthian Colleges, Inc.

A former Everest University student is suing Corinthian Colleges Inc., parent of the career college, after accumulating tuition and fees of nearly $60,000 for courses the state does not accept.

Irene Irizarry, who attended the Tampa campus of Everest, alleges the university violated Florida’s Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act by misrepresenting both the university’s accreditation status and the ultimate cost of Everest programs.
