On February 16, 2012, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a proposed rule implementing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act’s overpayment reporting and refunding requirements for Medicare Part A and Part B overpayments (the Proposed Rule). We believe the Proposed Rule has far-reaching implications for providers and suppliers. King & Spalding has prepared a Client Alert regarding CMS's Proposed Rule on the reporting and returning of overpayments.
On March 9, 2012, King & Spalding will host an Atlanta-based Roundtable to explore the positions advanced by CMS. King & Spalding is also offering a webinar option for this Roundtable.
