Does the radon gas disclosure have to be given to a buyer where the transaction involves the sale of vacant land?
Pursuant to Florida law, the radon gas disclosure is not required for transactions involving unimproved properties. However, this disclosure is required on at least one document, form, or application executed at the time of, or prior to, a contract for sale and purchase of any building or execution of a rental agreement for any building.

I have heard the term hazardous waste clean-up. What does it mean? RES-1172
The term hazardous waste clean-up means the removal and cleaning of certain hazardous materials, as that term is defined by state and federal authorities, from property. Hazardous waste clean-up can be extremely expensive. For those reasons, especially for buyers of commercial property, and depending on the nature of the property being purchase, it may be prudent to obtain an environmental site assessment on property as part of your due diligence.
