As Storm Looms, 4th Circuit Reverses Ruling Against Dominion on Coal Ash Pollution at Chesapeake Site -

"Water pollution from a coal ash landfill and settling ponds at a closed power plant in Chesapeake is not a violation of the federal Clean Water Act or the conditions of a state permit to enforce the law, a federal appeals court panel ruled."

Why this is important: The Fourth Circuit overturned the lower court's ruling because it determined the lower court misapplied the Clean Water Act....
