Defendant mother filed motion for reconsideration en banc to Connecticut Appellate Court re: its orders granting plaintiff father's Motion to Dismiss late-filed appeal, Motion for Permission to File Late Appeal, and defendant’s (initial) Motion to File Late Appeal Nunc Pro Tunc, as well as defendant’s Request for Leave to Amend Motion to File Late Appeal Nunc Pro Tunc. Trial counsel for mother filed late appeal of order of sole custody to father, thereafter seeking review based on (counsel's) inadvertance. Gravamen of motion was issue of best interests of child versus technical defect of late-filing of appeal.
