Defendant's Petition for Certification to Connecticut Supreme Court

Defendant mother petitioned Connecticut Supreme Court to review Connecticut Appellate Court's dismissal of late-filed appeal of award of sole custody to father. Gravamen of petition was importance of review of best interests of the child (public policy) despite technical defect of late-filed appeal by trial counsel (who acknowledged sole responsibility for late filing). Appellate Court decision dismissing appeal AFFIRMED.
