Defendants (Top Surgeons, LLC; 1 800 Get Thin, LLC; Almont Ambulatory Surgery Center, Inc.; Beverly Hills Surgery Center, LLC, Julian Omidi; and Michael Omidi) filed an anti-SLAPP motion against plaintiffs, who in early 2011 filed a putative class action against the named defendants alleging violations of California's Unfair Competition Law (UCL), False Advertising Law (FAL) and Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA).
Oral argument was held on October 6, 2011 before Judge Carl West.
