Tully Rinckey PLLC Founding Partner, Mathew B. Tully, will appear
before the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs this
Wednesday, June 30th. His testimony will center on his insight into the current state of the United States
Department of Veterans’ Affairs Office of General Counsel. The House Subcommittee provides oversight on
programs and operations of the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as those of other federal agencies that
pertain to veterans.
Tully will testify on the ineffectual legal strategies currently conducted by the Veterans’ Affairs Office of General
Counsel that often prolong Veterans’ Affairs employees' labor and employment claims. He will testify that this
leads to increased legal costs for individual clients and greater stress on the legal system as a whole.
