There is a misconception that you need to be wealthy or old or sick to even think about having an Estate Plan. The misconception there is that wealth, age, marriage, divorce and health do not dictate whether an Estate Plan is needed. Each of us stands a chance of getting in a car accident or having a terminal illness...we pray that we don't but there is a chance. Maintaining control over our bodies and "stuff" is why Estate Planning should be done by each and everyone of us!
