Our Government -
Australia’s formal name is the Commonwealth of Australia. The Commonwealth of Australia comprises a federation of six States, namely New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia, and two mainland territories, the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory. Australia also comprises some external territories (e.g. Christmas Island, Norfolk Island, Australian Antarctic Territory, etc).
