A Driving Under the Influence (DUI) conviction in Florida may carry a sentence to a term in jail, a suspended or revoked license and substantial fines. On top of that, a conviction for certain DUI offenses also requires the driver install, at his or her own expense, an ignition interlock device. After installation, a car key will not be enough to start your engine; a deep, alcohol-free breath will also be necessary. Read more.
