Gale was driving in a car behind Chris, who was on his motorcycle. Chris was killed when another vehicle crashed into his motorcycle - and his mother witnessed the whole thing...

• Cops must face the music for sham "training film" of half-nude co-worker. Deputy Sheriff Jane Doe and her partner served a warrant at home in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. The home was a mess - littered with trash and even a dead cat. When they left the house they discovered they were covered with fleas. Deputy Chief Ryan Foy and Chief Deputy Arthur Bobboiune arrived at the scene, and Foy began filming Jane Doe and her partner. Doe objected, but Foy continued filming, saying it was "for training."

• Wife has no wrongful death action over husband-pilot's murder-suicide, death of daughter. Eric Johnson and his wife, Beth, had an eight-year-old daughter, Emily. When Beth filed to dissolve the marriage in July 2006, Eric didn't take it well; he became violent and threatened Beth. He also began taking flying lessons. In March 2007, Eric took Emily on a flight instead of taking her to school. He called Beth several times from the air. Not long after, Eric flew the plane into his mother-in-law's house. Eric and Emily died....

• Nurse claims she got fired for legally firing up. Two weeks into her job as a nurse at Verde Valley Community Hospital, Esther Shapiro was asked to take drug test. She told her bosses that she had a state-issued medical-marijuana card and that the test would come back positive. According to her, she was fired the next day...

• Injured rodeo contestant can't lasso entire $400K jury award. In 2004, Fred Breeding and his wife took their vacation in South Dakota to enjoy an annual motorcycle rally. The couple came across a bull riding event where contestants took their chances at "being the last man standing" in an arena with a bull. Breeding paid a $10 entry fee and entered the arena with several others...
