No existe hoy en día en nuestro ordenamiento juridico una regulación precisa y sistematica del delito ambiental de contaminación de aguas. Sin embargo, se han utilizado ciertas tipificaciones para su castigo, especialmente los artículos 315-317, y 291 del Código Penal ,y 136 de la Ley de Pesca.
