FMCSA's Certified Medical Examiner Mandate to Start on May 21, 2014

Beginning on May 21, 2014, FMCSA will start requiring that interstate commercial motor vehicle drivers obtain their medical examinations from a certified medical examiner. FMCSA believes that this requirement will help to improve highway safety and to reduce the number of highway accidents.
