Seth discussed how broadly the European Union’s GDPR Law will reach and what types of companies will be affected; what hurdles businesses that need to become GDPR compliant will have to overcome; and the consequences companies will face if they aren’t compliant. According to Seth, the details of the legislation and how it is interpreted will likely vary from country to country - the GDPR sets the data protection floor, not the ceiling.
