Genetic Antidiscrimination Law Creates New Compliance Challenges for Employers

On May 1, 2008, President Bush signed into law the Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act (GINA) prohibiting employment discrimination based on employees' genetic information. The Act also restricts employers' collection, use, and disclosure of employees genetic information.
