The Obama administration, as reported in Time Magazine recently, has committed $1.7 billion this past fiscal year for fighting health care fraud, waste and abuse. Law enforcement efforts to combat health care fraud have been intensified. The U.S. Attorney’s office in New Jersey has doubled its law enforcement personnel in the health care fraud unit.
