Nursing home abuse can actually be very difficult to detect. In some cases, nursing home mistreatment takes very subtle forms. In fact, the abusers may not be striking or sexually abusing the patient at all. What they may be doing is simply neglecting them and failing to deliver the level of care that the patient and their family are paying for. Not only is this a breach of duty on the part of the nursing home staff, it's also potentially deadly.
