Immigration is working to improve its forms.
The main point is to prepare forms for electronic filing.
We applaud the waive to customer service and agree that e-filing is the future. Unfortunately, the experience with e-filing so far on the new system they are using (ELIS) has been less than ideal, and no easier for the filer. Our office is not using e-filing at this time because it ends up being much more time-consuming, and thus expensive for our clients.
We are monitoring e-filing progress and will offer it when it becomes useable (or when we have no other choice). We hope the former comes before the latter.
