As previously reported on this Blog here, Brandon Johnson died at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex on October 6, 2012 as a result of complications from a broken neck. An open-court John Doe investigation into Mr. Johnson’s death occurred during the first week of March 2013. Today, Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney Mark Williams, who is conducting the John Doe, is re-opening the investigation, to take testimony from Mr. Johnson’s roommate at the Complex. The John Doe will re-open at 1:30 P.M. in the courtroom of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey Conen, located in Room 413 of the Milwaukee County Courthouse, 901 North 9th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The civil rights attorneys of Samster, Konkel & Safran, S.C. represent Brandon Johnson’s mother and father. We will attend today’s John Doe proceedings to see if Mr. Johnson’s roommate can shed additional light on to the circumstances that led to the death of Brandon Johnson.
