Lamps Posing Fire, Shock and Burn Hazards

Faulty wiring and frayed cords can turn simple reading lamps into serious office and household hazards. Other lamps can become dangerously hot, creating shock, fire and burn risks to consumers. For these reasons, everyone should periodically check to be sure that their personal lamps haven't been recently recalled by the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The following list of recalled lamps and lanterns should help all of us better protect our homes and offices against unnecessary dangers.
