Mobile devices are typically used by only one person and are accessible anywhere, anytime, making it a very effective method for reaching, entertaining, and learning about fans. The Wireless Association estimates that there are 322 million cellphone users in the U.S. The U.N.’s International Telecommunication Union estimates there are 5.9 billion mobile phone users globally.
