This case is brought by the Center for Constitutional Rights on behalf of lawyers and others working with the Guantanamo Bay prisoners. It is based on the chilling effect on their ability to defend their clients due to the targeted warrantless wiretapping by the NSA that has been admitted by the President.

This is the Amicus Brief brought by the Washington Legal Foundation in opposition to plaintiffs' motion for partial summary judgment and in support of defendants' motion to dismiss or, in the alternative, for summary judgment.
