Federal District Court Judge Callie Granade's Memorandum Opinion granting summary judgment to my client, QBE Insurance Corporation, holding that the Total Pollution Exclusion in a Commercial General Liabiity insurance policy applied to bar coverage for all claims arising from Chinese Drywall litigation. This was a precedent setting case, the first in the United States where this particular pollution exclusion was applied to Chinese Drywall emissions, a hot button issue along the Gulf Coast and East Coast due to the use of Chinese Drywall following hurricanes Ivan and Katrina in mid 2000's.
