Last week, both chambers took a bit of a break after the rush to the crossover deadline on Thursday, May 4.

This week, the North Carolina Senate returns to the General Assembly to unveil its budget proposal via House Bill 259, 2023 Appropriations Act. House lawmakers will return to policy committee work.
