The Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court issued an order on March 19, 2020, extending the deadline to file a property tax appeal to the New Jersey Tax Court or County Boards of Taxation until at least May 1, 2020.

If you own or lease commercial, residential and/or investment property in New Jersey, you should have received a 2020 Notice of Assessment from the local tax assessor—and now is the time to review whether you should file a 2020 appeal.
