NHTSA Ordered an Expansion Of A Recall Of The Jeep Liberty

Coinciding with a previous blog. In addition to the Chrysler Fire Probe NHTSA has ordered that a recall of the Jeep Liberty now cover 35,000 SUVs produced between July 2003 and June 2007. The recall is due to excessive corrosion that can be caused by road salt. This can lead to a rear suspension failure and a possible vehicle crash. The recall is aimed primarily at the Snowbelt regions where salt is used to clear the roads. There has now been eight complaints regarding the problem. Chrysler plans to notify owners in the coming weeks. If you have one of the recalled Jeep Liberty SUVs you should discontinue use immediately and contact your local Chrysler dealer for repairs. If you or someone you love has been injured due to the problem specified in the recall, please call Begam & Marks as soon as possible for representation.
