-Oil Pollution Responder Immunity Now Part of Australian Law-
Please find attached a link to our recent update on the introduction of statutory immunity from civil suit to those responding to prevent or minimise oil pollution damage in Australia.
The introduction of responder immunity into Australian law is intended to encourage salvors and others to respond to maritime incidents without fear of civil liability and will be of particular interest to salvors and all involved in the ownership, operation or management of vessels.
