Wolfe Jr. v Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board

Order Granting Continuance

Judge Feldman, of the United States Eastern District Court of Louisiana, granted the Defendants' Motion to Continue. His order commented:

The Court is of the opinion that the plaintiffs improperly in effect seek an advisory opinion regarding their challenges to the lawyer advertising rules, implementation of which has been continually delayed by the Louisiana Supreme Court. The Court does not believe, however, that abstention would be appropriate, and this case will be reset upon notice.
