Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett officially announced the members of the newly created Public-Private Transportation Partnership Board (P3 Board) on September 26, 2012. The members of the P3 Board are:

The P3 Board was created under the Pennsylvania P3 law, Act 88 of 2012, which was passed by the legislature on June 30, 2012, and approved by Governor Corbett on July 5, 2012. The P3 Board’s duties include:

Establishing the procedure for public and private entities to submit requests for transportation projects

Receiving solicited and unsolicited proposals for public-private partnership (P3) projects
-
Reviewing and approving proposed P3 projects submitted by Commonwealth agencies, municipal authorities, and private entities
Governor Corbett has voiced support of P3 projects in Pennsylvania as a way to deliver more and better transportation services while reducing overall costs and generating significant revenue for the Commonwealth.
