They know who you are!

… Or, at least, come 2024, will know who you are.  In addition to the federal Corporate Transparency Act, Pennsylvania’s new annual registration regime for entities commences.  Although formal registration is not required until 2025, all domestic filing entities and foreign associations registered with the Pennsylvania Corporations Bureau will be required to make the annual filing.  The filing deadline will be staggered throughout the calendar year depending upon the type of entity.  The initial filing fee will be $7.00 (no fee for nonprofits).  Failure to file may result in an administrative dissolution or cancellation.  While these requirements are not overly burdensome and are consistent with requirements of many other states, they will make more information on your entities available to the general public.
