It was found that the childs motheer had been repeatedly confined within mental institutions for long-term mental illnesses and the petitioner(s) (the grandmother and godmother) filed for legal custody pursuant to the Louisiana Childrens Code Chapters 2, 3, Art(s) 302, 303(2), 309(1), and 310(2).
