Trial brief submitted in support of naturalization of Vietnam war veteran who had been denied citizenship on the basis of a 20-year old manslaughter conviction. In a published decision, Lawson v. USCIS, 795 F. Supp. 2d 283 (S.D.N.Y. 2011), Judge Denny Chin found in our client's favor and ordered that he be naturalized.
