Photos of Project Homeless Connect in Birmingham

Have I been quiet lately?  Among other things, I've been getting ready for Project Homeless Connect 2013 in Birmingham, which took place on Saturday March 9.  What an awesome day!

The event was amazing in every respect, with doctors, dentists, lawyers, housing specialists, job counselors, social security folks . . . . you name it.  About thirty volunteer private practice lawyers were joined by the Legal Aid Society of Birmingham, Legal Services Alabama, Birmingham Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program, and judges of the City of Birmingham and Jefferson County Circuit courts to help hundreds of homeless people get their legal problems addressed.

I'm exhausted!  So here are some pictures. Enjoy!
