This opposition was filed to Defendants' Demurrer to Complaint. The Complaint arises out of the predatory lending and wrongful foreclosure of the Plaintiff's residential property. The causes of action include California Business and Professions Code Section 17200 and 17500, Violations of Civil Code Sections 2923.5 and 2923.6, fraud and bad faith. Although it is a California case, I included relevant law from Massachusetts (Fremont) and Kansas (Landmark v. Kesler). This is an emerging area of law and I would appreciate any additional law/briefs on these topics.
