Given the number of commercial vehicle accidents on our roadways here in Florida, we are pleased that the federal government is taking steps to keep unsafe drivers off the road. The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) recently announced that 287 commercial bus and truck drivers were removed from the roads during the agency’s annual drug and alcohol strike force sweep.
