I was THE first sitting judge to become a whistleblower judge in America. I was sick and tired of watching my fellow judges blatantly ignore the Domestic Violence laws that were designed to protect a highly vulnerable population (mostly women and children). I filed action in the appellate court to get an order directing my fellow judges to follow these MANDATORY LAWS. I took this action knowing that any little thing I did at work would be given extra scrutiny in an attempt to get me out of office. By that time though I had become disillusioned with a court system that I believe has come to be hijacked by special interests. I became sarcastic in court and gave my detractors material to work with when they were looking to have me removed as a Judge. I essentially committed career suicide as a Judge and it saved my LIFE!! The best part of being a retired Judge is having my 1st Amendment rights restored. I can now return to being a TRUE PUBLIC SERVANT and advocate for those in need of good legal representation in Family Court without them having to worry about going bankrupt trying to protect their kids from abusers.
