For instance, recently, Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill has been accused of financially exploiting a ninety-six year-old constituent for over three years by using a power of attorney over the constituent to spend hundreds of thousand of dollars for cosmetic surgery, travel, clothes, and other personal expenses. While we hope the accusations against her aren’t true, Commissioner Hill was formally suspended from her public duties by Executive Order of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on April 2, 2024.
