A 1934 article from the British medical journal The Lancet examining the cases of 100 workers who were exposed to asbestos dust and developed respiratory illnesses. The article analyzes the symptoms of the workers effected by asbestos exposure and offers a diagnosis of their illnesses. Exposure to asbestos dust can cause a number of serious diseases, including mesothelioma, asbestosis, and lung cancer.
