The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue has decided, as a policy matter, to make adjustments the purpose of which is to give taxpayers increased time and flexibility during these difficult times.  

The notice also indicates that penalties that were assessed, should be abated in most instances. The notice also indicates that more generous terms are now available for payment plans, so if you have tax deficiencies, you should consider approaching the IRS to see if you can obtain a favorable payment plan.
